DO NOT REQUEST A COMMISSION FROM ME VIA KO-FI WITHOUT CONTACTING ME FIRST.
IF YOU SEND FUNDS FOR A COMMISSION WITHOUT SPEAKING TO ME PRIOR, YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED AND THAT MONEY WILL BE CONSIDERED A DONATION. YOU MUST GET CLEARANCE FROM THE MYSELF, (KOYFISH) BEFORE SENDING PAYMENT.

    By commissioning me, you agree that you have read
    and accepted all the terms described herein.
    You will agree here to the policy of using the art for personal, non-profit purposes unless otherwise stated, and provide all image credits to me.
    Violators will be added to my blacklist indefinitely and without warning.
    CLIENT

  • You may display my work on external sites as long as it is visibly credited and linked back to me.

  • You are required to include signatures and/or watermarks indicating the Artwork is my intellectual property. Credit in some form is required.

  • You may not upload or host my work in any gallery that is intended to display your own work only.

  • You may not claim my work as your own.

  • You may not profit off my work.

  • You may not use the Artwork for redistribution or external projects, commercial or non-commercial (i.e. t-shirts, mugs, public flyers, etc.) unless otherwise discussed.

  • You may not use the Artwork for any form of generative AI training purposes.

  • You are NOT authorized to change, modify, edit or use my works without my permission.

  • You are NOT authorized to trace over my Artwork in any way, including the use of the artwork as a base.
    • ARTIST

  • I reserve the right to post your finished artwork in my gallery for any reason.

  • I reserve the right to decline any project or client for any reason.

  • I reserve the right to refund you the full amount paid if I no longer wish to work on your project for any reason.
    • COPYRIGHT AND PRIVACY AGREEMENT (NDA)

  • I retain all copyright over my work, which includes the right to redistribute, reproduce, or use the image as a sample for sales or self-promotion unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • In the case of a commission, I will not claim the rights to a character design unless it was one of my own designs. Therefore I will not reuse/resell the Artwork for personal or commercial projects unless agreed upon.

  • If you wish for your request to be private, it must be stated during the ordering process.

  • The privacy request entails that I am not allowed to share any WIPs on social media, nor am I allowed to stream the process of the commission anywhere.

  • However, this also means that you must refrain from sharing any such spoilers yourself.
    • ORDERING AND PAYMENT

  • You are required to fill out my Commission Inquiry form to inquire about a commission prior to purchasing.

  • All commission payments are handled via Ko-fi.

  • When placing an order, please make your request concisely worded with minimal abbreviations, so as to make the note clear to read.
    Please provide visual references if possible.

  • If your character is extremely detailed, I have the right to charge a fee to include these details. This fee will be stated before the transaction, and you hold the right to make changes to your commission request (eg. change the character, agree to simplified design changes) before the transaction is complete.

  • You must use my ko-fi commission page to purchase your commission order. Using the “One-Time” donation option on my Ko-fi (especially when my commissions are closed) is not a proper form of payment for a commission. If you use this to send payment, this will be considered a DONATION and you will not receive a commission slot, nor will you get that money back.

  • It is expected that you deposit 100% of the price upfront before I start. No exceptions unless otherwise discussed.

  • After 100% of the payment is sent, I will place your commission in the queue and get started on it as soon as possible.

  • Once I begin working on your commission, NO REFUNDS will be issued unless I decide to cancel the commission, to which I would refund 100%.

  • Purposefully issuing a chargeback without contacting me to cancel/refund a project will result in immediate blacklisting for you as well as your email address, and anyone sharing your PayPal account, including side accounts.
    • WORK SPEED / REVISIONS / FEEDBACK

  • Currently, my turnover rate has increased to 2-4 months completion time.

  • I usually take up to 3-5 days to respond to your initial order inquiry.

  • You reserve the right to set a deadline for your commission. This deadline must be disclosed prior to payment.

  • I have the right to decline a project if there is too short of a time allowance.

  • I reserve the right to take up to 2 weeks to begin work on your project, and an additional 4 to work on said project.

  • You reserve the right to be notified of any delays.
    • FINAL PRODUCT

  • Credit to me, the Artist, is required when you post or use it on another platform.

  • You, the Client, are responsible for saving any information, images, and other digital data I provide.

  • Any file you paid for will be available from me for a finite time only. I take measures to preserve most files for up to 3 months. However, I cannot guarantee against computer failure or accidental deletion or loss.

  • I am not required to post your project in any public space, and if posted, I am not required to keep it there indefinitely. I have the right to delete or remove any public project, even if you paid for it, as you should have your own copy for personal use.

    • COMMISSION PROCESS
    1. COMMISSION INQUIRY
      2. You will fill out my inquiry form. I will get back to you as soon as I can via your preferred form of contact. We will discuss details of your commission and I will send you over to my Ko-fi for payment.
    2. RESERVATION
      3. Once payment is recieved, I will add you to my queue. I will begin work on your commission as soon as I can.
    3. SKETCHING
      4. I will begin your commission with a very rough sketch. This will be sent to you to ensure I have the right vision for what you requested. (Ie: Proper pose/angle).
      I will then do a more detailed sketch and send that version to you.
      I allow 3 major revisions of this sketch. (Ie: Changing of pose/outfit/details) **NOTE: This is only allowed for Half and Full body illustrations. NYP Sketches and Headshot banners do not follow this process.
    4. LINEART
      5. Once the sketch is agreed upon, I will begin lining the sketch. I do not allow major revisions during this process, however I do allow minor changes.
    5. FLATS
      6. Once we agree upon the lineart, I begin doing flat colors.
      I allow 5 revisions of the colors if needed.
    6. RENDERING
      7. I will render the commission with shading, lighting and final touches. (I will also finish the background during this time as well)
    7. FINAL
      8. I will send you the final product via a dropbox link. This link will be available for 3 months before being removed from my dropbox. You are responsible for saving your commission.
