"This creature was not captured by the agency. They simply showed up at our headquarters one day and managed to sneak their way in. They looked like a normal human until they revealed they could change form. We are unsure of what exactly they are, where they came from, or why they’re here. They can read, write and speak English and seem to have grown up around humans, although some of their behavior comes off as chaotic and random. We managed to keep them contained in one of our cells."

Silver Sands is a tabaxi who has faired pretty well for herself despite her rough and rocky history. Silver is brash and blunt. While her standoffish demeanor makes it hard for others to bond with her, she is undeniably loyal to those she considers her friends.
Notes:
Silver is kind of a bitch.
She's an exceptional cook and takes pride in the food she makes.
She's a lil fucked up.
Silver has a shady past.

Finlay has always been self-centered and self-interested since birth. He never really showed any care for those around him, but knew how to "pretend" to show such care. He learned to manipulate those around him and took on a life of petty crimes which grew more elaborate as time progressed.
In his early adulthood, he made a friend who would join him on his life of thievery. However, one bad heist nearly got Finlay caught had he not left his friend to take the fall for him.
As Finlay grew into his mid 30s, he began to develop skills to sell things and began many business ventures. By his later 30s, he was a well-renowned con-man. He spent years making connections with those around him, making friends in high places...as well as low places. He walked with all forms of life, whether it be with the bourgeois or criminal scum.
In his later years, he grew cocky and eventually attempted to con the wrong person, which nearly ended in Finlay losing his life. He was saved by someone who took had grown close to him and took pity on him. Though he lost his eyesight, this 'friend' gave him an item which could restore eyesight in one of his eyes.
Finlay became a recluse after, learning to hire people to work under him, to continue his life of crime, but this time, under protection.

He is extremely charismatic and a perpetual liar.

Can easily put on a front of philanthropy when needed.

CHAOTIC - GOD-COMPLEX - SILLY

Vee was part of a nomadic group that traveled the Shadowfell. After encountering a mysterious figure, she lost her memories and her ability to speak. Found by a group of adventurers, Vee set out on an adventure and made a new family along the way. After getting her voice back, and being influenced by a teenager who loved garlic bread, Vee became a chaotic menace. She was very ignorant to the world until she lost her "adopted" mother to THE VOID, an evil entity who had been manipulating her all along.
After several years, Vee joined a group called the Galactic Guardians to study ways to help fight the Void. She ended up gaining the ability to turn into a red dragon.
Notes:
Vee is a bit immature for her age.
She tends to wander off from the party.
When meeting a new person, she usually ends up shifting into their form...just for fun.
She's kinda broken in D&D combat terms.

After getting displaced from his pack, Qreg and the unusual stone he found on his venture took shelter in a nearby town. He lived as a squatter inside a ramshackle home for many years. Due to the freezing temperatures outside, Qreg would gather scraps of cloth he could find around town to build insulation in his home. He spent his time making trinkets from trash and items he could find. He would treat his large stone as a member of his pack, and would cater to it like a child. He named it Circeruu. The unusual stone gave off a warm glow.
Qreg would eventually meet 3 strangers who he would invite into his home. After gaining their trust, he would set out on an adventure with them.
Notes:
Nobody can understand how he's actually lived past the average age for a Kobold.
He once took a man's severed head and put it ontop of a snowman! The party was disturbed.
Qreg doesn't understand the concept of law or morale.
Qreg does what he wants and takes what he wants...whenever he wants...
Qreg would eventually meet 3 strangers who he would invite into his home. After gaining their trust, he would set out on an adventure with them.

My very first DND character. His name is pronounced "eye-dee-kay" which is a play on IDK, since I struggled to come up with a name for him.
He's a lonely bard who's partner passed away recently. He is grieving and tends to struggle with accepting the concept of loss.
